Honoring The Heart of Viking Sewer
A year has passed since we lost our amazing Mom, Mary. There are no words to fully express the depth of our loss or the impact she had on our lives, both personally and professionally. Viking Sewer and Drain Cleaning was founded in 1987 by our Dad, David, but he built this company with our mom by his side. Without her unwavering support, strength, and dedication, we would not be who we are today.
Mary was more than just our mom; she was the heart of our family and our business. She raised us with values that have guided us through every challenge and triumph—honesty, kindness, and respect in every situation. She believed that treating people with fairness and integrity was the key to both a good life and a strong business. Those lessons continue to shape Viking Sewer today.
Losing her was the hardest thing our family has ever endured. The grief was overwhelming, and in the immediate aftermath, we found ourselves in shock. But we were not alone. Our incredible team Ted and Marty stood by us, supported us, and helped us find our footing when the world felt unsteady. We are endlessly grateful for their loyalty and dedication during such a difficult time. Without them, we would have struggled to keep moving forward.
As the days turned into months, we found the strength to push on—together as a family and as a team. Not a single day goes by without thoughts of our mom. We see her everywhere—in the little reminders of her love for angels, in the moments that call for her brilliant sense of humor, and in the kindness that she so effortlessly shared with the world. Her generosity knew no bounds, and the impact she left on those who knew her is immeasurable.
Viking Sewer stands today as a testament to our Mom’s strength, resilience, and talent. She helped build more than a business; she helped create a legacy. As we continue forward, we do so with her spirit guiding us, ensuring that we honor the lessons she taught us in both life and work.
