David and Mary Strand started Viking Sewer and Drain Cleaning Service in 1982. At the start of the company in the 80s's Dave would spend early mornings delivering newspapers. Then his day continued by heading out into the Twin Cities to help families and businesses clear clogged drains. As his reputation for quality service grew, he quickly let his paper route go to focus solely on drain cleaning services, and hasn't stopped since.

Dave's objective was to build a business with outstanding customer service for all of our customers. Always remembering to keep the customer's best interest in mind at all times. It has always been Dave's goal that we build a customer relationship from the first time we walk in the door and make that relationship last a lifetime. He instilled this business philosophy in his children Spencer, and Allie who now also work for Viking Sewer.
